Question about 1999 Dodge Intrepid
It will run fine for the first five minutes after that i guess it warms up ,it will not sift out of first, Had trans rebuilt about six years ago.
Has filter & oil been changed since? I'd advise a trip to transmission shop, or dealer for scan. It may be money well spent , as I'm sure you remember last bill on rebuild. At least see what they have to say, & go from there. May be something relatively inexpensive, or as simple as a fluid & filter change, which I would do anyway, just to take a shot at it, before going to shop with it.
