Question about 2003 Lincoln LS
My check engine light is on ever since i bought it in Feb 2009, the day after it did an emmission test, the auto dealer (which is not a Ford dealer) did a diagnostic and told me that Ford needs to reset something for it to come off, i took it to a Ford dealer, and they told me i have to do a diagnostic test for them to find out what the problem is.......help what should i do? Also sometimes i smell gas very strongly, being that i bought the car this year, would the recall be still available at this time?
No recalls on it. Anyone who has owed a LS will have/will experience this problem. It's gotta be cleared. It should cost you around 70-100.00 dollars. For the gas smell, I would say it's the start of you're coils failing on you. Good luck.
