Where and how many grease fittings are there?

I am not familiar with the model but many vehicles have a variable number of grease points - not all fitted with grease gun points. Some ball joints, prop shaft U/Js and other suspension joints can be damaged by too much greasing and so blanking plugs are fitted and a grease gun adaptor fitted temporarily during certain maintenance services for one or two strokes of the grease gun and then the blanking plug refitted.

Enthusiastic owners sometimes fit their own grease gun adaptors and throw away the blanking plugs...

Grab it with a good set of vice grips and work it out, I have had grease fittings that won't take grease and some of them the parts had to be removed and the lube hole cleaned out. you can also buy a grease injector that is a hollow barrel with a plunger that fits down in it and you pull out the plunger fill the barrel with grease install the plunger, place the injector on the grease fitting and hit the plunger with a good size hammer

I replaced all of my joints, ball, tie rods, etc with grease fittings. If you can't see or feel them, there are none. You can try a grease needle that are sold at auto parts stores for cheap. You have to pierce the joints and inject them slowly. Eventually you'll have to replace them with joints that have fittings.

The vast majority of cars today do not have grease fittings for most components. They are sealed for the life of the part from the factory.
Only some replacement parts come with grease fittings.

Here's a link to the lower ball joint,it tells you about a fitting to be greased,as you see the ball joint has a hole at threads where greasing fitting will be.It will be best to jack up and remove tire to grease,look for other grease fittings,wipe up excess grease.Also check ball joint for wear,may need replacing.

alot of these cars don`t have grease fittings from the factory as they are considered lifetime(permanent) greased components.however this doesn`t always work.if the components have at one time been replaced then they will have a grease fitting in them that needs to be greased.

most newer cars came that way so you cant grease them this way you almost have to buy after market with grease fittings thay get you coming and going the only thing you can try is p-b blast spray it on the parts and hope it works good luck let me no if you need any thing else.

I Have 2005 F 350 and a 1999 F450 and there is no grease fittings

Manufacturers generally removed grease fitting from suspension part back in the 80's. Some put a removable plug in the ball joints, tie rod ends, etc, which could be removed and grease fittings installed in their place, but most have sealed and permanently greased. In other words you can not lubricate any fittings. If parts go bad, the replacement suspension parts generally have grease fittings.

there are either grease fittings or plugs where they go, the fittings will be in the ball joints and the tie rod ends. should grease about every 6,000 miles or so, if u go through water allot more often
