The back lights stay on when the car is turned off.
Do you mean the brake lights? If so, try checking under the brake pedal for a switch that activates as you press the brake pedal. it may be faulty or just need adjusted....they should be adjustable with ease. Pull up on the brake pedal and have someone check the lights while you are doing this.
