Question about 2003 Oldsmobile Alero
My service engine soon light comes on all the time, and sometimes it will turn the traction control off. Most of the time all you have to do is unscrew the gas cap and wait a few hours and it will go off. Now the O2 sensor is sending out errors to the computer (thank you Auto Zone for checking for me). Anyone know how common this is?
Very common. Over time the O@ sensor builds up carbon from your exhaust which causes it to mis-read what the fuel air mixture is leaving the engine. This is a very common easily fixed problem.
