The most likely cause for an idle problem is that the throttle body has carbon buildup on it. Remove the box directly on top of the engine (two clamps and two 10mm bolts, one wiring clip) and clean the throttle body out with a old toothbrush and carb cleaner, then wipe it out once cleaned. when you first start it after cleaning it might take a little longer to start and smoke a little bit but that will go away quickly.

2003 trailblazer problems

You need to check both ends of both battery cables, and the ground wire or strap that goes from the engine block to the battery or chassis.
This problem happens when the AC fan motor or AC compressor clutch draws current, but some connection is failing. With the ignition on but the engine not running, turn on the headlights and watch them. Next turn on just the fan, then the AC. The headlights should dim just a little, but not a lot. If it does this with both the fan only and then the AC on, then that proves that its a bad connection.
A common place is where the battery cable is clamped onto the connector. Another place is the actual battery terminal connector. Get one of those "battery terminal cleaner" things with wire brushes on it, and remove all the oxide down to the shiny metal. Then spray the connection with WD-40 or a Silicone spray before tightening it up.

Bad Clutch Fan? Rear ac/heat don't work front only works on 4

The fan clutch isnt engaged at all times, therefore it may be normal to hold it in place (not recommended). On these trailblazer's 4.2L engine the fan clutch is electronically controlled. Usually when this vehicle's fan clutch malfunctions, there is a random ticking noise while idling or at a stop, also the "service engine soon" may turn on. As for the the fan speed problem, this may be a faulty blower resistor malf (typical) or climate control unit may be faulty. Hopefully this helps!!

Engine idles low and stalls when heat is turned on

check for a vacume leak. Im not 100% shure on your vehicle but the acuators for the ac and heater are vaccume controlled. could be as simple as a hose slid off.

Can a bad AC Compressor cause the engine to stall during idle on a 2003 Ford Taurus?

It could if the front bearing is locking up, this causes the belt to stop which in turn could cause the concern.

Tries to stall when ac clutch engages

if your engine tries to stall when you turn on the ac then there is a posibility that your ac compressor is locked up
