How to adjust Pathfinder alarm

Try to unplug door look buttons on door panel.. i had a bad door lock switch, the car thinks someone is trying to unlock it! sets off alarm,, hope this helps

Put your key in the door and unlock it then lock it and unlock it again. this will turn the system off. If it has shock sensors wind an all sorts can set it off the sensitivity needs to be adjusted. Hope this helps :-)

You can't disable or bypass it. You'll have to go to a dealer and get a new key cut and new FOB.

take your key and open your drivers front door with it and the alarm should disarm.

youre going to need to get a volt meter and have someone hold the key in the start posistion while someone else goes under the vehicle and test to see if there is voltage at the starters smaller wire. if there is, replace the starter.

Is the switch in the center counsole switched to off? It should be. Alarm will still work but will work normal. If you have an owners manual it will tell you about the alarm settings. 3 different settings.
I had same problem with a 93 Pathfinder. If switch is off, everything works fine.

check for a little toggle switch under the drivers side dash , if you see a small switch flip it off and try the alarm again

There is no switch to turn it off. when the alarm is in alarm mode you have to lock all doors, then use key to unlock drivers door or rear hatch. This will turn alarm off

trace the speaker wire from your engine side to the inside of the car.

if you remove the fuse of the alarm and the effect is you can not start the car, then i would suggest that you remove also the immobilizer relay.

yeah disconnect the alarm system from the car..... so many time when this happens the alarm system for some reason keeps the car from starting. if you can disconnet he alarm the car should start.
