2007 Mazda 3, when you turn the key to aux power, you hear and feel a popping sound, sorta like an electronic plunger, under the gear selector, everytime you step on the brake pedal down and release, then press again, etc…. Once you turn on the car it goes away. Has 42,000 miles.
a 6ya Mechanic can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

clicking or buzzing sound coming from the "headlight relay" which is in ... off when you turn on the headlights then it clicks instead of buzzing in that fuse compartment and the headlight flickers about 5-10 times a second in time with the ..... Places to look for screws (general guide, not model specific):
1) within the door opener latch. Pop out any plastic backing plates. 2) Beneath arm rest area. Pop out the arm rest if possible and inspect. Some screws may be located under a thin rubberized matting which sits in the arm rest/ door grab handle recess. 3) Within the window switch cluster. The window switch cluster can be popped out on many models, without the need to remove the door panel.
I haven't removed a Mazda 3 door panel before, but I have removed a Ford Focus panel (Based on the same model) and the panel pretty much just all popped off.
The trick to removing panels is to pop off whatever you can, and then feel for where any tight bits may be, then look at that location carefully for screws or other types of retaining clips.
the battery is low on power. the lights will still light for a bit longer but your engine needs more cranking amps to turn it over. The clicking sound is your starter without enough power. Have someone help you jump the car. or if you have a manual transmission, get the car moving 5mph+ somehow (push or hill) and pop the clutch out with the keys in the ignition in the "on" position. your car will start right up. if your car regularly needs jumped you probably have a bad battery. if your car looses power while driving you have a bad alternator.
