Is the compressor turning on, what was the high side and low side pressure, you should know that or you would not know the level is good is the cooling fan working properly. First see if the compressor is turning on turn the ac on look in the middle of the ac compressor is it turning.

My 97, 5.2 runs 200 without AC, if I turn on AC, it goes to 220. Replaced clutch fan, thermostat, water pump, and new cap. Backflushed block and radiator. No results. Why so hot? Only 92K on unit.

dodges run like that. if your worried put a 180 degree thermostat in. maybe even a 160 . wont hurt engine or fuel mileage . my 99 dodge ram 1500 sport runs fine with 160 degree one. hope it helped , good luck

A/C works intermittently. It blows ice cold for a few minutes, then blows hot for several minutes before blowing cold again. Refrigerant level is not low and have already replaced low-pressure switch. No...

I had a problem on my 99 with the intermittent cold, it also had a sour smell occasionally. I did like you and checked everything - freon level, other basic troubleshooting. I took it to an AC guy and he said the clutch gap needed to be adjusted, how and where this is, I have no idea. All I know is that he adjusted it, charged me $100 and it's been working fine ever since.
Hope this helps - summer is coming!

My 2002 dodge durango runs hot belt look good nothing leaking

Check Thermostat and make sure fluid level is good. Low Fluid and a sticking Thermostat are the most common reasons for this overheating. If fluid is good and Thermostat is good the water pump is going out.

2001 dodge 3/4 diesel truck my heater does not

I'll assume for now that the blower motor is working.
Now, there are a couple of things things to check.
1. Easiest thing to check is the coolant level. If the coolant is low, your heater will not give any warm air. Hopefully this is the problem as it's the easiest fix.
2. The thermostat. When the engine and coolant are hot, your top rad hose should be hot as well. See if the rad hose is hot to the touch. If it isn't, your thermostat might be faulty. It's a fairly easy and cheap fix as well.
Good luck.

My 99 dodge durango's a/c is blowing out hot air, put in coolant didn't work, put in freon it seemed like it was getting a little cooler but still warm, turned air off next day it was back to hot air...

Most likely cause is a leak in the AC system. Adding refrigerant alone won't cure your problem. Get a can of R-134A with leak detector in it. It has a UV dye that will glow wherever the system is leaking. Best of luck.

My 99 dodge dakota wont heat new thermostat motor

You have a bad heater valve, operated by vaccuum or cable its on the hot water line on its way to the heater core.
