Likely the water pump has locked up. Usually, it is located at the bottom of the container of water. Have you been using straight water in it during freezing weather? The ice will damage the pump.

Have someone hold down the washer stalk to activate and listen, if its not spinning to squirt water then you may need a new pump, or the switch on the column.

Check that the plastic tubing between the washer bottle and the washer jets on the bonnet (or hood) is properly connected and that there are no leaks. Check the fuse supplying power to the washer motor(s) - it may have blown (with the engine off but the ignition switched on can you hear the washer motor operating when you activate the washer switch / lever from the driving seat?) If the fuse is ok, but there is no action from the washer motor, check that the wiring to the washer motor is ok and that the wiring is securely connected to the washer bottle

Windshield squirter on driver side does not squirt onto the windshield, fluid is coming out but not spraying onto windshield

There is usually a swivel mechanism and the "squirter hole" is part of the swivel. You should be able to use a pin or needle, and insert the point into the squirter, and re-aim the stream that way.

Water leaking unto front floor carpet when driving through rain

Check around the edges of the windshield for any place water could be forced into the car. Especially if the windshield has been replaced. Check around the cowl that covers your windshield wiper motor. Remove the cowl if possible to check for rust holes or separated seams in the metal. The blower motor intake for the cars HVAC (heater) is often under this cowl. Make sure water isn't getting in through there. If you find a leak around the windshield or a separated seam, some windshield urathane or clear bathroom caulking would work. If you find a rust hole in a non visible place affix a tin or metal patch over it using rivets or your choice of fastener. Welding is the best method. Then cover the patch with short strand fiberglass bondo or something else to seal out water. If you have a hole in the floor you could put a patch on it with rivets or weld, then tar the underside well and put rocker panel coating on the top.

Back windshield wiper is working but no water coming out.front side are working fine.what causes it,not to have water at the back?

Your washer system could be low on water, the pump that pumps water to the rear sprayer could be bad or the connector could be loose, the hose to the rear sprayer could be busted or the rear head could be clogged.
There can be many things affecting your sprayer... goodluck!

Winshield washer dont work

I don't all the details, but let me tell you what we do here at work. Is your fluid full? First thing to try is taking a safety pin, opening it, and sticking the pointed end into the nozzles where the fluid comes out at the windshield. then try the sprayer. They do become clogged over time. If this does not work, disconnect the rubber hose at the windshield, now try the sprayer again. If this works, run some wire through the nozzles to get the clog out and reconnect the hose. If this didn't work, go to the fluid reservoir, and disconnect the hose, try the sprayer(this will let you know if the problem is the tubing or the sprayer pump) if it works, then you have a problem in the hosing, and it needs to be replaced. If the pump still did not work, check wiring with a multi-meter with the switch on. If you not getting power, check your fuse or relay. also check the wiring. If your getting power, but pump still not working, then its time to replace the pump. This whole process takes about 10 minutes to do. hope this helps

Windshield washer failure installed new pump and checked fuse still won't work

I have a question for you before anything else. Is the pump working? Do both of us a favor, open the hood, and disconnect the hose at the tube at the firewall going to the windshield. Now try it. Does it work? If it does, don't hook it up yet. The tip on the outside, by the windshield may be clogged. Run a safety pin in the holes, then blow it out with a little air pressure. Re-hook the line and try it. That should help. Hope this helps.

Renualt megan wipers not working

To troubleshoot car windshield wiper problems, you need to thoroughly investigate problems with any of its operating parts. Here are some of the things that you need to check to determine why are your car windshield wipers not working.

Check Wiper Motor
The wiper motor is the driving force of the windshield wiper. Feel the motor and listen to a humming sound. If there is no humming, the motor is the problem. Check if the motor is working properly and see to it that its electrical connections are made properly. If you find that the motor is dead and beyond repair, get it replaced immediately.

Check For Break in Connecting Wires
The connecting wires of the motor sometimes go loose and that may cause the windshield wipers to stop working. Also check the battery plug connection which the motor has. Connecting the loose wires properly or fixing/replacing the plug might solve your problem.

Check Wiper Switch
Another wiper assembly part that can malfunction is the wiper switch itself. Check for switch malfunction and if you find that is indeed the problem, get it replaced from a mechanic.

Check for Bent Wiper Arms
Bent wiper arms can cause the operation of the wipers to be hampered. If the wiper arms are bent beyond repair, get them replaced immediately.

Check For Blown Out Car Fuse
A blown up car fuse could be the culprit that has stopped the windshield wipers from working. Check the fuse assembly under the dashboard of the car. Replacing a blown fuse might fix the problem of windshield wipers not working.

Windshield Wiper Sprayers Not Working - Things to Check

Sometimes the windshield wiper sprayer stops working which can be very annoying. The washer mechanism is a self cleaning mechanism for the windshield. Here are some of the things that you need to check in case it is not working.

Check Windshield Washer Motor
The windshield washer mechanism might have been impaired due to the malfunctioning of the wiper washer motor. Check if its working and get it replaced if it is beyond repair.

Check Windshield Washer Fluid Level
Sometimes the washer doesn't work because the washer fluid levels are not filled to requisite levels. Filling in fluid might restore normal functioning.

Check For Broken Washer Hose
The connecting washer hose that connects the reservoir to the nozzle, might be broken or worn out stalling the overall operation. Check the hose for leaks and get it replaced.

Check Washer Nozzle For Clogging
Last thing to check is the nozzle of the washer for clogging. An obstruction in the washer nozzle might be the reason for windshield wiper sprayers not working. Using a pin, clean the clogged nozzle. This might restore the sprayer to the normal working condition.

Windshield washer will not squirt

Make sure you have water or windshield wiper fluid in the reserve (open your hood and add more, look for a blue plastic cap) if you hear it humming when you turn it on then the pump is working. Also check the little nozzles on the hood (one on each side) and see if they are clogged, stick a small safety pin into the holes and move it in and out to free up ant debris inside that may stop the water from squirting out

Water won't spray to clean windshield.

Best solution is compressed air blown through the backside of the nozzles. If you do not have access to that, use push pins to clean the holes from the outside

Be aware the Y fitting in the hose mounted right at the base of the hood is common to break from age, also causing no spray.
