I don't know your year--make--model?
With some vehicles, you can access the trunk by removing the rear seat back. I don't know about yours?
Inside the trunk, some vehicles have a release handle, you pull the handle to open the trunk lid. I'm not sure why they put that handle in there? I guess if somebody kidnapped you and put you in the trunk, you could pull the release handle, pop the trunk, jump out and run?
The release handle was just a thought, where applicable.
Testimonial: "Thanks everyone -- the disconnecting the battery worked. Have a good day everyone"
Try pressing the fob trunk button while pushing down on the trunk lid as sometimes the latch mechanism gets dry and sticks. If you do get it opened spray some silicone spray onto the latch and wipe off excess with a towel. It is possible that something got caught or wedged into the latching unit. As Malissa said try unhooking and reconnecting the battery to see if the BCM resets and lets the key fob work.

Hi KReive , I want to help you with your question, but I need more information from you. Can you please add details in the comment box? Try disconnecting the battery for 30 seconds, then hook it back up. this should reset the computer. If that doesn't work, you need to call the parts dept.
what part would that be? I will have to wait til my son is around to do the battery as I am not able
what additional info do you need?. Basically it worked and 10 minutes later it doesn't. Usually when you push the fob the tail lights flash and you hear the truck latch release. Now there is nothing
Do you need any other info?
