Question about 2002 Jaguar X-Type
First things first, If it has been non functional for a while you may want to hook up a vacuum pump to the system to evacuate it and dry it out. If it just started not working you most likely have a low pressure condition that will not allow the comprssor to engage. You can do a few things here, one top it off with R134A from any auto parts store or you can try and find out why its low pressure. Some small leaks can be fixed just by adding freon with stop leak in it due seals being worn in the system. They also have stop leak for minor holes in evaporators and condensors in the auto parts stores as many of those parts are hard for even dealers to replace and are costly to try. Try these if you need more help contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
