Question about 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe
Try replacing the fuel filter first and the primary fuel filter screen in the fuel pump may be dirty also. As for the the one in the gas tank which is a part of the fuel pump, your just going to have to keep the gas tank half full and add some fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank for the next feet fill ups. As for the fuel filter along the frame rail on the drivers side, they have a life of 30,000 miles or 1 year and needs to be replaced within those recommended intervals. Good luck and hope this helps, Note: the gas is what keeps the fuel pump cool, so low fuel in the gad tank will have the fuel pump run hotter causing it to fail prematurely.
