You must remove the panel from the inside of the rear door and apply voltage with a jumper (+) wire from a 12 volt car battery which needs to be grounded with a jumper cable to the frame of the truck, since the window is probably stuck down it will be difficult to get acces to the switch's positive wire to unplug and apply voltage to it but if you can reach it and touch the hot wire to the window motor's positive wire you will be able to get the window up in order to work on and perhaps replace the switch, be careful not to get your hand caught in the mechanism when contacting the pos. motor wire or switch wire with power, as a matter of fact if you can use and aligator clip on the end of the jumper wire and attach that first to the positive switch wire or motor wire then connect to the battery that would eliminate the risk of catching a hand in the window mechanism, just wear safety glasses when making a spark near the battery when contacting the positive wire.

Rear d/s powr window on 2002 RAV4 won't work.

if you dont use that window very often it might just be stuck to the rubber around the top and side of can have someone hold down the switch while you take your hands one on outside of window and one on inside of window and slap at a downward motion and you can also slam the door a few times while someone is at drivers door holding switch down. if this dont work it is most likely the window motor. good luck let me know if i was any help at all

First read the owners manual.
Second open the rear doors and take a look at the end of the doors, not the inside and outside, look at the and see if there is a child proof engagement switch. Thgis keeps kids from opening the doors and windows. There may be a switch on the master control as well.
While they are all over 10, hence subject to failure, the rear windows are used so seldom that failure is unlikely.

Back window doesnt roll down properly when you open the door, so I have to push it down a little before I close it. Also the lock bottom for the windows doesnt work.

dis-connect your battery for 30 seconds to do a switch reset on your window, when you reconnect the batt your window will go down, open and close rear door to check lock functions ok first. close rear door and using key or switch inside car close window fully with out stopping, this should reset the window.

sounds like you may have to replace your door lock switch on the inside. Once too much water has laid on the switch it may have corroded the connection inside.

93 4runner rear window motor slipping

disassemble, inspect gear drive on motor and regulator. Replace as necessary. When you say it slips. Im thinking you may mean it just doesn't want to move with any power. If its actually slipping. you have missing teeth on the gear or the regulator is damaged.

Rear window will not roll down

I had the same problem but it turned out to be the safety switch that is in the drivers side gate latch. To get to it you must roll down the window. I did this by disconnecting the motor and attaching a cordless drill battery to the ternminals at the harness. One way rolls up and switch the connection to roll down. Take off the drivers side latch (three screws on gate edge) and there is a switch inside the latch. My local toyota dealer didnt have the swicth so I just took it out of the loop. This solved my problem, but there is about 4 switches/relays in the gate alone that can give you the same problem.
