Unfortunately there is no way for anyone other than a certified Mercedes dealer to reset the Service Due indicator. Their reasoning is that they do not want customers to defeat the indicator without actually getting the service completed. They have the electronics necessary to access the onboard computer (there are security codes built in that are programmed into their tools), and reset the display once the service is concluded. As an aside if someone should try and reset the display incorrectly the service computer will record this. If you take a look at your warranty it states that if the dealerships sees that someone has tampered and reset the display it will void your warranty.

The reset process is located in your owners manual. I did review the process on-line, however, it is very lengthy to say the least.
Rather than trying to interpret the manual process you might want to give your dealer a ring, they will walk you through it over the phone.
But give the owners manual a try first, you may not have any problem with it.
Good luck, let me know if there is anything else I can do.
Best Regards,

You will have to have a hand-held scanner to remove the light. It is an obd2 foreign scanner. Otherwise you can try to disconnect your battery cable for 10 minutes. Doesn't always work on the newer car these days though.

It was purchased used 4 days ago and has 81000 one owner miles. There is a message light that says " SOS drive to repair shop. Whar could this be? The car drives, runs, and rides perfect.

That message means the Teleaide system is not working. IT has nothing to do with performance. The most common cause of failure are the buttons in the console.

2004 ml350 wrench code 25d what is it

It means that your car will want service in 25 days. I'm guessing you don't put a lot of miles on your car. The MB Assyst system will request a service every 365 days or 13,000 miles, whichever comes first.

2004 ml350 wrench code 2d what is it

Hello, The Wrench is telling you that your car is due for Service, Simply an oil change and some inspections are due. The 2D means that the service is due in 2 days. Hope that helps, You can go to a Mercedes dealer but they are way over priced, I would recommend finding a local independent Mercedes shops. Usually they are run by Technicians who worked at the dealers anyway. Just FYI.

After replacing the Battery in My 2003 ML 350, The radio stop working and the engine starts but do not idle. Does any one know what could be the cause of this problem

It's a Mercedes, so electrical issues are extremely common. The ML especially of that year is about the most problematic car Mercedes ever produced.
It has issues everywhere from short circuits due to the wiring shrouding breaking down over time, to ECMs/ECUs failing without necessarily any good reason to. As there are too many faults on that particular vehicle to mention, it won't be easy to diagnose this one over the internet. You will likely require an auto electrician, and perhaps not even just one workshop to manage all types of issues. My best advice once you've dealt with this one and the vehicle is working is to sell it. You won't stop working on expensive issues with this mark and model.

Is there a timing belt and water pump service for the 2007 ml 350 at 100,000 miles

No the ML 350 uses a timing chain and the water pump is external on the front side of the engine. No timing belts to worry about on those engines.

My 2004 Rx330 is showing maintenance required at 65,500 miles. I purchased the car used at 39,000 miles all I have done is changed the oil every 5,000 miles. What do you think the maintenance requirement...

a major service is due at 60000 miles. the light is just a reminder that maintenance is due. is it the message on the nav screen or the one on the dash cluster? if you want to turn it of, hold the trip/od button in while turning the ignition on, keep your foot off the brake, dont start the car. you will see dashes flashing where the od shows miles, hold until its done flashing. and the lite on the dash cluster will go out. it will come back on after 5000 miles. you can go online to lexus.com to review what the services are and what they involve.

Service Code

The maintenance service indicator shows the maintenance service type (letters A-H) in the multifunction display. This service type is only to give the customer an approximate time required to perform the required maintenance ranging from approximately one hour for Service A to approximately eight hours for Service H.

To determine the actual service items required, you must call up the service item menu in the multifunction display. Refer to instruction below.

Calling up the maintenance service data information

The maintenance service indicator shows the maintenance service type (letters A-H) in the multifunction display approximately one month before the service appointment is due in miles (distance criterion) or in days (time criterion).

This maintenance service type is based on the service items to be carried out. The service items are described in the Maintenance Booklet.

The service items to be carried out under the corresponding service type can be displayed in the multifunction display example Service "D" on my 2005 E320 4MATIC at 12,000 miles.
