How to move the selectors internally on a Mitsubishi triton 1999

Hi have just dropped the transmission gearbox and bell housing out of my triton , tried to get a replaced unit but they have only sent a replacement gearbox hence why now the need to remove the old bell housing and the works from the old to be able to interchange the gearbox ! Have remove the two pin out of the 3 gear selectors to try and be able to do this but am having trouble removing the centre pin ... So at this point unsure as to how I can best go about removing the final split pin type part from the centre gear selector as it seems to not want to budge or punch out unlike the other two ! Is there something we can do to free it up to be able to remove this split type pin as it now is the only thing stopping us now ... And is so frustrating ! Any help would be greatly appreciated ... As we have had no luck thru so called authorised repair service places so far !

Why is there antifreezes leaking out of bell housing on a 1999 dodge Cummings diesel engine, is it a freeze plug or a crack in block

there almost certainly will be a freezeplug in that area , but first make completely sure the coolant isn't leaking higher up and looks like from bell housing , get the area steam cleaned and make sure it's not from the head gasket or another freeze plug , 30 minutes spent doing this could save you time and money dropping the gearbox etc , hope this helps

Manual gearbox jammed

Can you place it on Neutral? If you can, do it and have your truck towed to service with the manufacturer/dealer. The most probable cause of your problem is that the selector fork in the gearbox has suffered wear from use or it's a factory malfunction. Also check the gearbox's oil level, if it's too low, it can also cause the gears to jam. In any case, don't drive the car until the problem has been solved, or else you could end up with a bigger bill to pay.

Does my car have an internal slave cylinder

The slave cylinder is the one that actuates the release bearing of your clutch system. It is located underneath your vehicle and mounted on the bell housing of your transmission assembly.

If the clutch slave cylinder on my 2005 Saturn Vue is internal to the transmission, how would the fluid have poured out onto my garage floor? I think the transmission dude might be pulling my leg to the...

No its internal meaning that its in the bell housing. The bell housing is bolted to the gearbox to hous the clutch befor being bolted to the engine. It has no seal on it.So when your slave cylinder leaks,The fluid drips from the bell housing. And the only way to get at it is to remove the gearbox.
