Owner's manual should show what each symbol means.

SOURCE: what does the wrench symbol mean when it comes on

It means it has stored a code in the FORD PCM and you will need a dealership or auto repair facility to retrieve the code that triggered it and possibly fix whatever triggered that code, or they can just clear it out, or you can clear it out by remove the battery cables for about 10 min

SOURCE: 2006 ford explorer. While driving and abs code, a

Sounds like your car is reporting a fault with the anti lock braking system. Sometimes this can be caused by a faulty sensor. Whilst the car still has brakes it could be that their anti -lock function is no longer working and this would compromise your brakes at the limit in an accident situation. To test, and in the process perhaps allow the sensor to reset, find a quiet stretch of road free of other road users, especially users behind you. Do an emergency stop from about 40mph by just stamping on the brakes as hard as you can. If the ABS is still working you will feel back through the foot pedal a shuddering sensation. If there is no shuddering and the wheels lock out and car skids to a stop then your abs unit and braking system need a look at. Check your brake fluid level and check your ABS sensors and cables for integrity. If everything looks OK but the fault still remains then take it to the shop for a complete diagnostic study.

My indicator sound will not work on my 2006 Ford Territory, where do i find the Relay?

In a 2006 Ford Territory, the turn signal relay is located in the central junction box, also known as the fuse box. Here's how you can locate and access the relay:
  1. Find the central junction box: The central junction box in the Ford Territory is typically located under the dashboard on the driver's side. It is usually positioned towards the lower part of the dashboard, near the pedals.
  2. Remove the cover: Once you've located the central junction box, you'll need to remove the cover to access the relays and fuses inside. The cover may have clips or screws holding it in place. Use a flathead screwdriver or the appropriate tool to remove any screws or release the clips to detach the cover.
  3. Locate the turn signal relay: Inside the central junction box, you'll find a grid or diagram that indicates the different relays and fuses. Look for the turn signal relay, which is often labeled with its specific function or identified by a symbol representing the turn signals. Refer to the owner's manual or the diagram inside the junction box for the exact location of the turn signal relay.
  4. Replace or test the relay: If you're experiencing issues with the indicator sound, you can try replacing the turn signal relay with a new one. Alternatively, you can test the relay using a multimeter or consult a professional mechanic to diagnose the problem accurately.
Remember to disconnect the car's battery before working on the electrical components to prevent any electrical mishaps. If you're uncertain about locating or handling the relay, it's recommended to consult a qualified mechanic or refer to the vehicle's service manual for detailed instructions specific to your 2006 Ford Territory model.

My 2006 grand caravan had the traction symbol elite come on and it made a bad grinding noise?? Symbol was a little car with skid marks under it?

You probably have a bad right side C V shaft. The shaft has a spline joint in the middle; over time water gets inside and rusts the splines causing it to slip(makes grinding noise), and it will not turn the wheel, causing the wheel speed sensor to cause the traction light to illuminate. Replace the C V shaft (reman ones are really cheap)

This symbol came up on my dash (!)

Hello,
This symbol is typically associated with your brakes, traction control, skid control etc. It could be something relatively simple to get fixed. I recommend you go to a certified mechanic and have them scan the code(s) if you can get me the codes i will be able to tell you exactly what your problem is. Could be something as simple as a warning that your brake pads are getting low and need to be replaced. I can save you a lot of time and $$ if you are able to get the codes. Usually a shop will charge an hours labor to scan these types of codes.
Please advise,
-Tim

2007 ford territory is stuck in park

I don't think the Territory's have a brake pedal lockout however you haven't said if the shifter will move or not
If the shifter still moves but the vehicle stays in park you may have a broken cable you need to get someone to look under the passenger side of the vehicle the shifter runs a cable to the transmission and the end of the cable can break off right at the transmission so while one person is looking you want someone else putting the car from park to drive and back and you should be able to see the lever on the side of the trans moving
. this is not a easy job it is harder than it looks as part of the dash needs to come out to change the cable.
I would recommend if this is the problem contact a dealer and get it towed to a repair shop or dealer
cheers paul
