Question about 1992 GMC Sierra
It sounds like the amp built in the car stereo has gone bad. It's common on the GM product factory radio that the amp in the radio go bad due to the heat and it may need to be replaced. The best thing to to is go to the salvage yard for a factory replacement, since your truck is 17 years old and the salvage yard will cost you around $35,00. That may vary depends on where you live, so call around. Good luck friend, the other thing to is to have the stereo repaired and hope it's not going to cost too much.
