Take it back to the shop that did the work. That error code means there is a short in the ignition switch or the dash.

I have bad news for you
p0604 is a transmission control module
check the connection at the transmission control module if there are no connection issues than you will need to replace the transmission controll module "tcm" there is no other test for that code.

There is no way of knowing without running codes. Also know that with the light on the bags can deploy without warning while driving.

personally i would look online for a new or even used one(not deployed of coarse) and fix it your self, once you take that into a shop and they put it in the system, then your screwed! A deployed air bag automaticly classifies your car as totaled and you will have a marked title or salvage title bringing the price of your car WAY down! Plus they will charge you WAY more then what it cost part and labor included, pretty much they will ******** and there's not much you can do about it. PS i believe you have to buy the whole system, not just the air bag)

Do not leave it loose as it is dangerous for any shortage and might cause the unexpected.What to do follow my advice firstly if you know anything about electrics the go on if not take it to an expert Electrician. If you know just remove the battery Positive terminal leave it for 5 minutes without doing anything and then move the seat for easy access and repair the wire with proper connectors go according to wire colors to much. Re connect and I believe the light will go off or you might need a scanner to reset it.
