Before you go through all that problem of taking the door panel apart, check the fuse, wire harness between the door hinge, and the switch it self. You can try removing the power window switch, which just pop's out from the door without removing the door panel and wiggle it around while pushing the up button. It may just be as simple as a switch gone bad, that can be bought at Auto Zone or you can pick one up at a salvage yard for $10.00. You can even try swapping the window switch with the passenger side to try to get the window to go up if the wire harness clip's are the same. God luck and keep me posted, be glad to help and if you need to disassemble the door to get to the window, keep me posted, be glad to help you with that too.

97 Ford Explorer back doors won't open

A common problem with these are that the power door lock actuator freezes, and wont let the door unlock all the way,or the latch rusts up and again wont let door open, see if the lock arm is going up and down all the way, if not then try grabbing the lock with pliers and pulling up and then opening the door, or pull and push a few times then try to open the door, good luck.

2003 Jeep Liberty Limited Glass Latch will not move on own.

Hello and welcome the problem is very simple to resolve first make sure you have battery power turn off vehicle open rear gate unlock doors go to rear gate and look at lock unlock again and push the Grey plastic lock trigger mechanism forward towards front glass close gate unlock again make sure lock is still in the position you just set it to and close glass it will the lock. Normally what happens in this situation was power was removed from your jeep and the rear gate was opened with no power running to electric lock so it stays in a set position you cannot lock the glass because there was no power in the electric lock I will lock once you reset it Hope this help. Rear side windows

This may be just a case of inadvertently hitting the window lock out n th driver door window switch by mistake. Check that first. Here's some background on window operation

Principles of Operation
The driver power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the master window/door lock/unlock switch (and its integrated "auto down" module). Power is supplied to the power window relay and the master window/door lock/unlock switch, and the passenger power window switch when the SEC/timer module grounds the coil side of the power window relay. The SEC/timer module will ground this relay when the ignition is in the ON position and will remain energized for approximately 15 minutes or until the driver or passenger door is opened.
The driver power window regulator motor is a reversible motor that is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The passenger power window regulator motor is controlled directly by the passenger power window switch and can also be controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch.
The passenger power window regulator motor is a reversible motor, which is operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to lower the window, and then reversing polarity on those leads to raise the window.
The power rear quarter glass is also directly controlled by the master window/door lock/unlock switch. The power rear quarter glass power latches also utilize reversible motors. The power rear quarter glass power latches are operated by applying power and ground to the motor leads to open the window, and then reversing polarity on those same leads to close the window.

Rear seat won't come back up

I had the same thing happen! Pushed all the way down the rear back locks, to unlock push the lever in and press DOWN on the seat to release the lock.
I had to check my manual, I tried to lift it 'case it made sense but nope - you have to press down while pushing the lever.
