Question about 1994 Honda Accord

1 Answer

Inputting code into radio does not unlock it. What to do? I am original owner, so I know this is the right 5 digit code...but car was dead for a while in my garage, and that radio just will not unlock.

Most likely you have inputed the code several times and it has completly locked up. The only way to unlocked it would be trying to leave the stereo on for about an hour so it can reset it self and then retry to put the code in

I replaced the battery on my 2002 Honda Accord. After turning on radio, the radio display read "COdE". I entered the 5-digit code from the Anti-Theft ID card. Radio display said "Err1"....

Hello you will need to visit the dealer to retrieve the unlock code for this problem your having removal of the battery has cause this to lock.Dealer usually charges $15-$20.00 for the unlock code this is the best solution.

Locked car radio

The stereo has "TheftLock". If the power is disconnected from the stereo, it will not turn back on without first inputting the four digit security code. This renders the stereo useless if someone steals it from your car. If you've never set a code, the factory default code will be listed in the owner's manual. If you do not have one, call your local dealer for the default code.
www.DelcoLockCode.com will get you your unlock code for you. It's only $5 so it's better than going to the dealership.

I change my car battery and now my cd player will not turned on

HI. this vehicle has a theft system that will kick in if the battery is dead or disconnected from the vehicle. The radio is in lock mode and can only be unlocked by inputting a standard code specifically made for this vehicles radio. Most of these codes are located in the owners manual. If you have lost your manual, you can call the dealership for this code or, send for it by contacting Nissan.

pleas rate and god bless.

E55 radio code

If you typed the number in wrong more than twice it may be locked and won't take the number even when it's correct. You need to disconnect the battery again for more than 5 minutes and try again. If you typed it in correctly, the card might be from a previous radio (if you're not the original owner) or if it is the original radio, a mechanic may have swapped the card with another car by mistake. Either way, it's a trip to the dealer.

Radio locked

let the car run for fourty five minutes to an hour with the radio turned on. after that time turn the radio off press and hold presets 5 and 6 for about ten seconds then use the seek and tune buttons to put in your code. what was your code that you are entering is it your personal code or a default dealer code. your radio should display 1n0p is this right?
