Buy a cd player cleaning kit from Walmart or stereo shop and try it. Check all fuses.

How to remove cd multichanger from jaguar xjr and can you replace it with a different multichanger

no problem, just make sure you have a wiring 'jack' to go with your new unit to match the plug on your loom.

Got a 3 series BMW and the cd multichanger is not working. Every time i put discs in it reads ''no discs''

You can try running a cleaning disc through it.
But it's likely the changer has failed. A new one will need to be installed.

6 CD Multichanger

Hello There.

My guess would be that your sat nav was retro fitted, i'e not factory fitted. Who ever fitted it didn't use the correct wiring harness. It seems they may have used a wiring harness which didn't have the connection for a CD changer.

If you want to get this fixed you will need to replace the wiring harness which means stripping out the entire interior of your car, i.e seats, carpet, door panel. or you can live with the single CD which works.

If my answer has solved your problem, please rate me on fixya.

Thank you

My Bmw 325 SE cd player wont work...but the radio is working

The carriage inside the cd player is half way in mode.  Which means the cd has to be removed mechanically.  In order to do this a qualified technition needs to dismantle it.  On some models there is a reset switch next to the eject button on he changer.  It will be very small.  like the size of a paper clip hole. push in with a pin.  Otherwise go to stereo shop
