There are 5 clips holding it on 3 along the top 1 on each side, the middle part of each clip needs to be depressed to release,i'm not sure if this model has the trim pieces under the headlamps.if equipped you must push these pieces from the grille opening to the outside of car to release them good luck

the front grille is held on by two bolts on top and the rest are pull tabs holding it on. I would use a flat head screw driver and pop the center one out first then the two on each side under the head lights

Headlamp remove & replace

If it is just burnt out , you do not have to remove or replace the whole lamp , just the small bulb inside of it. They are usually easily accessable from inside the engine compartment , and just come out of the back of the headlight by 1/4 turn.

How do you change front side bulb

HI, You might find that this is a sealed beam headlight, (so you will need a whole new light) or if you were referring to the indicator light, you will need to remove the light housing to get to the bulb.
1, pop the bonnet
2, remove the front Grill... [ should be about 4 screws, one in each corner [if rusty spray with CRC first],] you might find there is a small plastic square toggle/head, this needs turning to allow the grill to come out, also at the bottom there are plastic locators so pull grill from top out slightly and then up.
will help if you use the right tools so take your time to find the right screw driver that fits properly.
All the best Ian

Removing Head lights

If this is a 1996 model. When you lift the hood you should see 3 or 4 screws in the top of the grill. Take these out then the grill should tilt forward. then pull up to release from the tabs on the bottom. The headlights have 3 or 4 nuts behind them under the hood. When you remove these the headlights and turn signal will pull out towards the front. You will have the disassemble them off the truck. You will have to remove the battery also.

Removing Headlight Assembly on 2003 Ford Focus Ultimate Edition

Jack up the front of the vehicle. Secure the vehicle with at least once JACK STAND. Open the hood of the car. Remove the front grill. Remove the fasteners on the head light assembly that are located on the exposed inner fender and the one that was under the front grill. Lay on your back and look between the front fender and the head light assembly. You only have about 4 inches. Remove that screw. All screws are either Phillips or torks.
