If full sized pickup, you shouldn't need stamp. Try calling again and supply them with all info, engine size,AC or no AC, automatic or standard,etc....

I have a code c1100

DTC C1100 00: Brake Booster Vacuum Sensor Performance .
Do you know what the brake booster is ?
Circuit/System Description
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) provides a power 5-volt reference to the brake booster vacuum sensor. The brake booster vacuum sensor converts the change in vacuum levels in the brake booster into a voltage signal. This signal is sent to the EBCM. The voltage signal ranges, from 0.13 to 3.30 volts depending on vacuum levels. The low reference is the return side of the sensor to ground.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
?€¢
Voltage at the brake booster sensor signal output to the EBCM falls outside the 0.13 to 3.30 volts range for more than 200 milliseconds.

?€¢
The power 5-volts reference is shorted to ground or battery positive.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
The red BRAKE Warning indicator turns ON.
Circuit/System Verification
DTC C1100 will set as result of power brake booster vacuum sensor or circuit failure, test for power and ground circuits to the EBCM.
?‡'
Repair the power or ground circuits.

How to remove the brake pedal bracket from the dashboard

We need to know exactly what you are trying to do. Are you removing the Power Brake Booster? and you want to disengage the pedal? or do you want to remove the bracket that holds the Power Brake Booster in place so that you can pull out the Power Brake Booster?

P0130 has to do with either the circuit for the upstream/bank 1 oxygen sensor or the sensor itself could be bad. There are a few teats that need to be done inorder to fully diagnose the problem. I will need to know which engine you have. It\'s either going to be a AWD, AWP or an AWW engine. The engine code can be found in the spare tire well on a tag with the the specs or it\'s also stamped on the engine. If its not in the spare tire wheel well you can look on the engine itself. Below is a picture of the basic 1.8 liter engine and I circled where the stamp is. Below that picture it a picture of the oxygen sensor in question and where the red arrow is, is the cover, the black arrows are where the bolts are at in order to remove the cover. If you want the testing procedures, feel free to email me at with your information includingh the engine code and I will be happy to email you some testing procedures. In order to do the tests you will need to remove that cover to get to the connector and will need a volt/ohm meter (digital if possible). basically in short code P0130 says there is a circuit malfunction in oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1.

When I start my car the brakes still stay hard they do not depress, you can barely stop the car , what may be the problem?

You will need to replace the Vaccum Booster Hose which runs from the intake manifold to the brake booster. I just fixed mine with parts from Partsgeek.com for less than 1/2 the dealer price. In addition to the Vaceum boster hose you will also need the booster adaptor which locks the vaccum booster hose to the intake manifold.

I need a new brake booster for my 89 LeSabre T Type. I i don't know if I need the entire thing or just the cylinder. I have no pressure with my brakes, even with the brake fluid full. I know i have a leak...

booster rarely go bad and when they do they make a vacuum sound in the car see if vac hose is going to booster from top back of engine 2 booster if that is got vac . but the leak in the brake line is a bigger danger and you cannot diagnose the master or booster with out fixing that leak first &bleading the brakes

Brake booster

If I understand you Question correctly you would like to know what you brake booster hooks on to? Its bolted through the fire wall by four bolts you can't see those bolts from outside in the hood. They can be seen up above the brake pedal on the inside of you vehicle . The master cylinder in mounted to the brake booster. The brake booster has a Push type rod that attached to the top of your brake pedal close to the brake light switch. Good Luck

Brake goes to floor with new mater cylinder question about power booster

If your pressure is good in till you start your truck it is the power booster. i just fixed this problem. If it is not your master then that is the problem. I had to replace the whole brake system to find this out.
