What weight can i tow with a 2004 camry

The weight the car will tow and the weight it can legally tow are two different things. You need to check on the law where you are. Whatever you tow observing the manufacturer's noseweight limits is important unless the rear suspension is modified.

What is the towing capacity of a 1983 chevy 1/2 2wd with a 6 cyl. motor?

Hi, this all depends on what you are towing, and your hitch set up. If you have an approved towing package, it will be rated at 5, 000 lb's.plus. If you do not have a tow package and just a hole in the rear bumper with a ball, it should say on your bumper next to the ball the amount of weight you can tow. I have no tow package, but my bumper says I can tow up to 5,000 lb's. Do this, go to the u-haul web site, at www.u-haul.com and enter the information on your truck and the information that will come up for what you have, your truck, year, model, and make. It will tell you the amount of weight and what set-up you need for your truck. I hope this has helped you.

How much weight for factory rear bumper want 2 put 2" ball on to haul a trailer?

Bumper hitch ... probably 1500 #. It should be stamped in the bumper. If you want more, get a frame mounted class 2 hitch if you have a heavier trailer. Check your owners manual for GVWR (gross Vehicle Weight Rating) and DO NOT EXCEED IT! If you don't have a owners manual, check on the driver side door post for this rating. If you don't see it there, go to your auto parts supply place which sells these hitches, they can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about hitches.

Here is another resource you can check: http://hitchestogo.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=HTG&Product_Code=36244 It appears your vehicle is reated for a max Class II hitch. http://www.reesehitchestogo.com/trailer%20hitch/index.html

I hope you have found this information helpful. The courtest of a positive rating would be appreciated.

I have an 03 Toyota Sequoia, 4.7L V8, factory installed hitch receiver and wiring. The manual says it has a towing capacity of 6500 lbs GVWR. I have been towing a popup trailer weighing 3000 pounds with no...

I think the tongue weight rating on the stock hitch is 600 lbs, so you are over that. You probably want to level out truck to handle better when towing, so the best way is to get air bag helper that raises the back end.

Depending on the condition of the vehicle and if you have a transmission cooler and what type of hitch you have:
1500 lbs with the bumper hitch - Max tongue weight on the bumper.
6 to 8000 lbs with a receiver hitch and torsion bars
8 to 10,000 with a Goose neck bed hitch.

I put a trailer hitch on my venture and when I put just a little bit of weight on it, the trailer almost hit the ground near the hitch area, is this normal, or do I need shocks or springs?

Maybe springs, just make sure that when you put a load in the trailer that you put the weight over the trailer tire's to equal the weight and not put the load on the bumper.

What is the towing capacity of a 1987 Chevy Silverado R 10 with a 350 engine,700 R4 trany, and two wheel drive?

The 700 R4 is old and not worth towing for it will have problems sooner than later in the overdrive if used. If used do not use the overdrive when towing. 4500 pound capacity is the max weight

Want to know the towing capacity for our truck

First off the 1997 F-250 HD with a 4.10 rear end will haul 14,900 lbs. The real question is do you have a receiver hitch or the rear bumper hitch. If you have the rear bumper hitch buy a receiver hitch that mounts to the frame a class 5 is usually put on these trucks. However a class 4 will work just fine for 6,000 lbs. The receiver hitch will have the capacity stated right on the hitch you just bend over and read it. It will give you two ratings one with weight distribution device and one without. You will be looking at the one without. That will fall somewhere between 6,000 and 12,000 lbs depending on the hitch manufacturer and the class. Hope this helps.
