May want to check compression before buying a lot of tune up parts that may not fix your problem. If it idles rough but clears up at high rpm you could have a burnt valve.

The "check engine" light will "light" when there is a malfunction in the engine management system. The fault code is then stored in the computer. The computer must be scanned to retrieve these stored faults to pinpoint the malfunctioning component. We recommend buying your own scanner and doing it yourself. With a pocket scanner you can check for fault codes to find out why the light came on in the first place. You can clear your cars trouble codes after you replace the malfunctioning sensors.

SOURCE: 1999 Jeep wrangler runs rough

Check the gas, could be water in it or drive the car with a fuel pressure tester connected to it and watch to see if you lose pressure.
Normal pressure while driving is about 30 to 40 psi

How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes?
The basics for a rough idle, check for a leak of some kind, fuel--egr--vaccum.
Check/clean idle air system and anything that has to do with mass air flow like, maf--map--tps, something of that nature.
Does it run ok going down the highway?

How do I remove radiator fan on 1999 grand

It has to be removed with shroud. Use pri bar at screws and lremove one screw at a time at pulley. It helps to break them all loose first and the pull all screws one at a time.

Idels up and down 95 jeep grand cherokee

Go to Walmart or local part store and buy a can of sea foam and pour it in you gas tank with a quarter tank of gas. You can also pour a little bit in your vacuum line that connects to brake manifold. Rev the engine to about 3 to 4 thousand rpms. Keep doing this till white smoke stops or alot of black junk is coming out of the exhaust. This is a tune up in a can and will clean carburetors and injectors. You can also put in oil before a oil change and do the same thing to help clean engine.

97 Jeep grand cherokee 6 cyl. idles down to 0 and dies.

any leaks in intake or exhaust upstream of the sensors, sparkplug condition and engine controls/sensors for out of range operation (including fuel pressure and condition of regulator)
IAC should be cleaned and checked as this can cause poor idle and shut down. I'm not saying not to change O2 sensors, but unless everything else if OK, it probably won't help.
