Having pressure and having the CORRECT pressure are different. I would recommend installing a fuel pressure gauge and check to see if the pressure is within specification. It very well may be a fuel pump related issue

This could be the catalytic converter plugging up or it could be injectors that are full of sediment.

SOURCE: Chevrolet 2500 Not Running, May Be Fuel Filter Sensor

That red wire is only for the fuel heater.will not cause a no start.try pumping the primer pump on top of the fuel flter hsg. but first open the bleed screw, which is black plastic also located on the top.this will eliminate any trapped air that might have entered the fuel intake system.if the pump does not get firmer and harder to push, then you have a leak in the fuel supply lines or the ck valves in the fuel filter hsg or stuck open. Still no start have it scanned to ck fuel pressure while cranking.it should be close to 5000 lbs

You mention no check engine light, and all the work you've done leave one solution; Your catalytic converter is clogged.

When you replace you catalytic converter your issues will cease. This is a very common problem, and a simple fix.

I hope this information helps and I wish you luck with your repair.

Sounds like the fuel pump going bad. You will need to check to make sure you have the correct fuel preasure for at least 10 mins. You can find a fuel preasure tester at any auto parts store. Same thing happened in my 2002 Escalade, replaced the fuel pump for around $650.00. Good luck

Starting problems

Dirty fuel filter or faulty fuel pressure check valve which is located on your fuel pump sending unit. Try this test, turn the ignition on for 10 seconds (engine not running) then turn it off for 5 seconds and turn it on again then try to start the engine after 10 seconds. This will re-pressurize the fuel lines to start the engine, the fuel injectors need 62-65PSI to have them start the engine. Anything less then that and you'll have starting problem.
If it start's right up, then your ether have a fuel pressure check valve gone bad or a fuel leak at your fuel pressure regulator which is also common, but if your engine is still running 100% then i'll lean towards check valve or dirty fuel filter.

Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter, a dirty fuel filter will cause fuel restriction that may just be enough to the fuel pressure below 62PSI upon cold starts and a dirty fuel filter will cause the fuel pump to fail early in it's life.
Thank you for using Fixya and goos luck.

My 2002 Denali starts but ideals rought then stops in 1 minute, was working fine until it happend today

sounds like a bad feul pump. hook up a pressure gauge to the feul rail fitting under the hood. it looks like a metal line with a little black plastic scew cap on it . on top of the engine passanger side. you turn the key on and you should 57 psi in it. you may also ahve afreind listen at the rear of the truck. turn key on but do not start. you should hear pump buzzing. start truck and you should hear pump runnig. common problem. repalce pump with one that comes with new connector and wires. not an easy job

2002 chevy suburban shutting off whil driving in extreme heat

I had the same problem with mine. I installed a fuel pressure gauge, and drove around until the problem started. The truck should be running between 48 to 56 lbs. of fuel pressure. Mine ran at idle at 42lbs. , not even high enough. Drove it for about 20 minutes, and it started to stumble. Fuel pressure dropped to 30lbs, 20 lbs - then all the way down to 2lbs. I shut it off, and it would not start back up. 30 seconds later, I turned the key and it came up to 10lbs. press. 10 more seconds 20lbs. After almost a minute, it came up to 42 lbs. started and I drove away. I replaced the fuel pump assemb. on 7/3/2008. Drove it around, and the problem is gone. Mine is a flex fuel, and the pump retails for $668.00. I did find a AC Delco pump for $221.00. I hope this helps.

Jeep runs for twenty minute and stall.

Hello now that I see this messages you making me to remember when this use to happen to me I was totally mad especially that I try everything even on my wedding Honey moon it was a disaster I took my truck to my Honey moon it was 12 hrs from home but it took me around 20 hrs once I get back home from my trip I decide to spend a full day trying to find out what was wrong with my truck I had a dodge ram 1500 1995 5.9 engine and the main problem was with the fuel pump it run fine for about 3 hrs and then it die and I had to wait around 20 minutes and then run another 2-3 hrs in low speed the higher the speed the less time it took to fail again how I found it was the pump well inside in the engine compartment there is a fuel line with a valve to check the fuel pump pressure I did run my truck hard until the fail occur then I install the pressure gauge try to turn the switch on and it was no pressure at the line problem solve the fuel pump was getting hot after couple of hrs running sometimes it only took about an hour to fail try this and see if you have the same problem it could be a different problem but it is good to know this

Fuel pump

Not a simple problem, the fuel pump has most likely burned up. The pump uses the gas to keep it cool, and will continue to run until it has built up the correct pressure.
