Drive belt configuration for 84 B II

no use all efect switch on the distributor

Check for fuel....try some fast start/either in the carb/ throttle.

Could be in 4 wheel drive. Or if the fluid was real dirty, you could have a stuck valve inside ******.

starter silanoid feeds power to the coil after start up giving 9 volts could be giving to much voltage check with volt meter while running

well if it is a 1984 tranny it is a toyo koygo tk4 or tk5, which if mounted in the 84 bronco the transmission sets at a tilt, which means that the transmission crossmember bolts into the frame at a angle.. the mazda tranny was used in 88-90 the transmission crossmember sets straight across and bolts on to the frame on each side with one bolt.. with some major fabricating it is possible but to simply change out nope wont fit..

in tank fuel pump is getting old

my buddy had the same problem with his bronco II im not shure what year it was but all it was for hime was corroshen on the back of the switch that switches 4x4 on and off

Check coolant level, then thermostat, then water pump circulation. If all are good then jump to head gasked, cracked head or block...

sounds like you have a defective accessory drive belt or a locked up engine cooling fan clutch whioch causes the belt to slip, more so cold..

has the fuel filter been replaced? this sounds like a plugged fuel filter.
