Where is the Mounting? If it's at the side, it will probably cost you about $45.00 for the mount. If thats the case its an easy fix. You have to jack up the front of the car and SECURE it not on jacks, The mount is held on with 4 bolts, 2 on the top, 2 on the bottom. Undo the bottom ones, then undo the top ones, leaving the moung effectivley free. Carefully with a bottle jack raise the engine, using the mount agaist the block joint about 50mm. Slip the mount into the top first, the try and get the botom one in, if you dont have enough space, jack the engine up about 5mm at a time until the bottom bolts line up., slowley drop the jack enough to get nuts on both the top and bottom of the mounting, hen slowly drop the jack so the mounting slips into place. Tighten the bottom bolts first, and the top ones second. Make sure you use nylon lock nuts, or the nuts may shake lose. Let me know how you got on. Regards Dave.

If he is talking about the complete cost after labor and tax and parts that is approx. correct considering the dealer charges about $98.00 an hour now, call around to a local reputable shop you may save $50.00 - $100.00

04 pt cruiser gt upper front right motor mount bolt size?

Is there some reason you can't use a wrench to determine the size? Or do you mean you lost the bolt? If so, get one from dealer--how much could it cost?

Theirs more than one mount and they cost 60 -125 at a parts store Most fair mechanics will just change the front one and send you down the road for less than $200 for one mount. The dealer will reconmend them all and their right if over 100 thou miles and get out $500-800

1996 ES300 with less than 86,000 miles. Torn front motor mounts. Lexus dealer repair quotes $641. Any comment?

part is most likely the priciest of the qoute but not knowing what the shops labor rate is I would have to say that is right aroound the correct amount for the repair.

Engine vibrates on take off, noted that a rubber gasket was torn that has a mounting bolt on driver side of engine. not sure what kind of mounting bolt or if in fact thats what it is. help.

that is an engine mounting bolt and bushing, if it is torn or broken that can very well be the problem.... you will have to jakc the engine up not using the jack to change the spare tire, but a good 4 ton jack cause you need something to suport the engine, put a new mount in, and that should fix the problem. how do the tires look? is there any uneven wear on them? cause it could be something else lik a tie rod, part of the steering, or ball joint etc. without driving it I am taking a guess for you, but sounds like that engine mount you found bad is the problem...hope this helps....

Engine mount brackets

No... this is not normal at all, not for your car. I have seen poorly modified race and drag cars snap motor mounts, but your car absolutely should not do this. If you still have warranty it should be fixed by them free of cost right away. From what I see in the top picture it might be a common problem with your type of vehicle, those engine mounts look pretty thin compared to what i'm used to see.
