It sounds like the flap that controls air flow may be stuck. The vacuum line could be disconnected from the vacuum actuator, be leaking, or the actuator could be bad. Hope this helped.

That is nothing more than a vacuum leak to a/c plenum. the vehicle needs vacuum to control different modes of operation to the registers. no vacuum results in default operation and blows out of defrost vent's. you can maybe search for a little spaghetti size vacuum line that inters cabin from engine compartment, usually located by accumlator which looks like a aluminum canister with two lines in it and evaporator which has two lines that enter inside cabin usually looks like it's going right behing passenger air bag area. look around firewall there and see if you can find the line and the leak. there is several other possibilities but without knowing exactaly what you have for climate control make's it a little harder. hope this helps

My ac not blow out of the top vents

if the ac works and the fan works in the other positions and is only not coming out of the top vents , check that the plastic pipe behind dash and is also located near fan assembly is connected to the vents that you are talking about . also check adjust ment on the vent controls to see that there is correct operation on vent controls in all positions. hope that is of some help to you

Air vent heater

Check the vacuum can on the ac box. It may just be a broken vacuum line or the can can be bad. There is a baffle in there that has to move from AC to heat. Sound likes there no vac getting to the baffle vacuum can. Could also be the switch in the dash board controller. Depends on what type of car it is.

Why wont my a\c blow through my vents. it blows on

Vacuum hose most likely the problem. They get dry and crack open especially near the connections. Check the vacuum and listen for a hissing sound with the engine running. Don't put your hands near the fan!

Ac not blowing out top dash vents

The baffles that direct air, heated or cooled, are controlled by vacuum 'motors.'
You may have a vacuum line off somewhere or the vacuum reservoir is cracked or one of its connectors (thin plastic protrusions) is broken.
