How do I drain the fuel on a 2000 Honda Odyssey? The fuel level is too low to siphon. I’m hoping there is a drain plug or some other easy way to empty fuel tank on this year?!

Fuel tanks do not have drain plugs ,if you can't siphon the gas you could use the vehicles own fuel pump to drain the tank . Find the fuel pump relay in the under hood fuse / relay box . Jumper where the relay plugs into it. Disconnect fuel line at the engine an drain into a gas cans .

Is there a drain valve for a 2001 Olds Alero gas tank?

No however, you can unplug the fuel line from the injector rail and apply 12v power to the fuel pump diagnosis wire located on the drivers side fender and that will allow you to pump it out through the fuel line.

How do I replace the Fuel Pump in my 2002 Cadillac Seville SLS

Hello ray......

The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank. You can access the fuel tank thru the trunk. Inside the trunk and underneath the carpet, there is a access panel. Remove the five screws and lift the access panel. There under the panel you will see the pump. Disconnect it and take it to the auto parts store as they usually want the old one for an exchange. Is there a fuel drain plug for an 88 cavalier, it has sat for almost 2 years and i need to drain the gas before i fire it up

Sorry, there is not fuel drain plug. There are several ways to get the old fuel out. Using a siphon is one, or removing the fuel lines from the tank and cycling the key to let the fuel pump push it out. The last method of course is to drop the tank and empty it.

How do I replace the fuel pump

You must remove the fuel tank in order to replace the fuel pump. Drain the tank of as much fuel as possible with a hand pump. Disconnect the positive + battery cable. Disconnect the fuel lines and the electrical connections. Remove the fuel tank, and then remove the old pump. Clean off any old gasket and then reinstall the new pump. Reinstall the tank and then replace the fuel filter. A partially clogged fuel filter will cause a pump to fail prematurely.

Water in gas tank how do i remove it

Disconnect battery, remove the tank and drain it.The fuel pump is no good now too, replace it with new. After draining the tank, let it air dry for several hours so that ALL the moisture has dissipated. After reinstalling fuel tank with new pump, safely disconnect a fuel line up at the engine and place in a container.Add new clean gasoline, and cycle the ignition switch on and off so that the fuel pump will come on and flush the fuel lines of old contaminated gasoline and water. After a thorough flushing, replace the fuel filter with new. Also, add a small can of "Dry Gas" to the fuel tank as this will take any remaining moisture out of the tank.Good luck.
