HI,
Please make sure you have proper screw drivers before you do this.
The cabin filter is located behind the gloves compartment. You have to empty it first and fully open it all the way down until you see a plastic cover with two screws. Remove the screws and pull the cover and filter cartridge out. Put in the new one, tight the two screws, raise the compartment back.

Replace cabin filter

Then cabin air filter is located right behind the center stack where the radio and heater controls are. It is fairly easy to get to. I changed mine myself without even taking the glove box out like it says. It's a tight fit but doable. There is small door on the passenger side of the center stack. Open that up and the filter is right behind it. There are videos on YouTube if you are unsure of where exactly it is located. It is the same for years 2007-2012. I have a 2012.

Where is the a/c cabin air filter located in a 2005 outlander

  • It is behind the glove box. There is a tab on the inside of the glove box on the left side that needs to be pressed in and then a plug that you slide to remove. The glove box will now pull forward and down exposing the access panel. Now you see the access panel for the cabin air filter. Remove the two Phillips screws and pull the filtyer housing forward and remove and replace the cabin air filter...

Where I can find the Cabin Air Filter. I want to

The location of the cabin filter and changing it are incredibly simple. The location is immediately behind the glove box, you open the glove box, remove the panel that comprises the rear "wall" of the box, and this exposes the filter housing beyond. There is a white, rectangular door to access the filter, just squeeze the latch on the left and pull the door, slide out the filter and viola! Mine was filthy after 2 years, 23k miles. I just vacuumed it out but will order up a new one on-line, around $15.

How to change air filters on 2007 Mercedes C230 Sport

I have '05, both should be similar:
1.Cabin air filter is located above battery on right side against firewall.
Release three latches, remove filter housing, slide old filter out (housing is flexible), insert new
one, reinstall housing.
2.Engine air filter is on the left side of the block (follow intake hose). Cover is retained with six screws
(six point star shape,I belive called Torox, bit/scredriver size 25). Loosen screws (don' t pull all the
way out of the cover) lift cover , and remove old filter. Insert new one, reinstall cover. DO NOT
OVERTORQUE SCREWS! Screw holes in plastic filter housing strip very easily.
Note: Intake hose is very flimsy, one on my car came apart and had to be replaced.

How to remove and replace cabin air filter 2007 se crew cab

If you haven't figured it out yet, try the two links below. They have pics and diagrams. I haven't done this yet but, Nissan suggesting to have it done. (Sitting in the dealer having oil changed as we speak. They want $90 to replace the 2 filters.) I'm planning on doing it myself to save about $70. Doesn't look too difficult - just a little time. Parts are about $22 at local parts store. hope this helps. (Won't be back on this forum. So won't see any response you submit back).
