I believe under the dash, passenger side. Are you sure it is the ECM? Lots of other things could cause this. ECM's have to be programmed for your vehicle also.

Do you know ?
*: ECM determines the start signal status by the signals of engine speed and battery voltage. The ECM activates the fuel pump for several seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON to improve engine start ability. If the ECM receives a engine speed signal from the crankshaft position sensor (POS) and camshaft position sensor (PHASE), it knows that the engine is rotating, and causes the pump to operate. If the engine speed signal is not received when the ignition switch is ON, the engine stalls. The ECM stops pump operation and prevents battery discharging, thereby improving safety. The ECM does not directly drive the fuel pump. It controls the ON/OFF fuel pump relay, which in turn controls the fuel pump.
The relay is located in the IPDE E/R under hood fuse / relay box . Should show location on inside of lid
there is no fuse at all for that model. It is controlled by the ECM. you need to replace the ecm
The ECM is located on the left side of the engine block right behind the fuel injection pump remove the connector from the ECM and check the terminals very carefully sometimes you'll find corroded terminals or broken wires causing the same problem. hope this help out.
check you fuel pump relay. located on IPDM marked as ECM relay in the picture. Just change places of ECM RELAY and FOG LAMP relay and try to start. If it starts change the ECM relay. good luck
U need to check the crankshaft position sensor. The fuel pump will only have power for 2 seconds I till it sees a crank signal. It' controls the asd relay which turns on your spark and fuel
check see if you getting spark if not.have vechicle code scan could have faulty ECM .faulty camshaft sensor and crankshaft sensor.make sure engine has been tuned up.replace fuel filter change spark plugs and wires. before engine can run need fuel and spark.either one not working car will not crank.
Turn the key forward and listen to see if you hear the gas pump run.or have some one put there ear on the gas tank door.also air out the fuel line there may be air in the fuel line.

do you have ignition fire? does the check engine/service engine soon light come on when when you turn the key on? can a scan tool communicate with the ECM? there are several things to check if you have no power to the fuel pump because the fuel pump relay is controlled by the ECM.
FUSE SHOULD BE UNDER THE DASHBOARD ON THE DRIVERS' SIDE. WHEN YOU CHANGED THE PUMP, YOU NEED TO CHANGE THE FUEL FILTER AS WELL TO MAINTAIN THE WARANTY. I WOULD CHANGE THE FUSE AND FILTER. HOPE THIS HELPS. LET ME KNOW HOW YOUR DOING. BEST OF LUCK
