Overheating new thermostat put in still overheating? any other reason why?

Lots of reasons. Radiator plugged. Hose kinked. Engine timing way off (computer screw-up), belt slipping or broke, water pump broke, low on coolant, transmission not shifting correctly.

Just replaced water pump on 94 Nissan quest still getting hot just need to know how to purge it with out a purging screw Thank You

air in a fluid system always goes to the highest point in the system. ensure that the heater control is in the fully on position. Find the highest point in the cooling system and loose off/remove the hose at that point to allow air and water to flow out Refit and refill the radiator . As a point of interest ,,water pumps are seldom the cause of overheating. They leak and make a noise but the overheating will not occur until the coolant level is reduced . I would be looking at a partially blocked radiator , head gasket, cracked head , condition of radiator core fins and faulty thermostat.

2004 nissan quest overheating a little

You can run the engine without the thermostat as a test.
Not recommended to run it forever like that.
The problem could be air in the system, or a faulty water pump not making the coolant flow.

How to replace a thermostat on a 1999 Nissan Quest?

1999 Nissan/Datsun Truck Quest Mini Van 3.3L SFI 6cyl

The thermostat is located in the thermostat housing, which is mounted to the coolant crossover tube. The bypass hose is connected to the thermostat water inlet on one end, and to the intake manifold water outlet on the other. The thermostat is not located in the intake manifold water outlet, where the upper radiator hose is connected.

My 93 nisson quest has no heat but is overheating

bad water pump or clogged system. is the car overheating, if so water pump. take off the radiator cap, then start your car, if you can see antifreeze swirling around, pump is ok, if it looks like it's standing still, waterpump. And a clogged system, might not be the only problem, it's just the more, common issues.
