The theft light in the dash is on and doesnt let my car turn on. How do I get that theft light dissarmed?

Have You Had A New Key Made Ford Uses A Chip In The Head Of The Key If you Had One Made Somewhere That Does not Know This Some Keys Will Work Doors But If There Is No Chip That Your Car Can Comunicate With It And Will Not Let The Computer Start The Engine Or Could Be Several Things Bad Sensor In The Key Switch Is One

I drilled a hole in the middle of my key on my 2004 Pontiac grand prix. Now my car won't start and is displaying starting disabled due to theft system. What do i do? Cant I disarm the theft system?

It is quite the prosses to dissarm the security system.I have tried before to no avail.I sugest you replace the lock cylender and have the dealer reprogram for the new key.This is your best bet to getting your car back.

The reason stated by you comes if the key is not properly inserted. Insert the key properly. Also reason for your problem can be due to fuel pump and ignition switch which are related to anti theft security system which protects your ride from robbing. before you get in to start again tell your car you are its owner and you love it very much and you are proud of owning it!(in a nice voice) if that doesn't work hold your dissarm button down for awhile (hopefully your headlights will blink letting you know she loves you back) and your problem will be solved! :)

Theft system saab 900

might be the battery in your remote is dead and wont turn it on. That was one issue I had, changed the battery and was fine
