Bank two is on the drivers side. cylinders 1234 right side, Bank 1, 5678, bank 2. you have something like a vacuum leak effecting one side only. Not all code readers come up with all the codes. Its possible you have other codes possibly on the bank 1 side also. If you have a K/N filter it could of deposited oil on the MAF sensor on the intake there or you may have a clogged air filter. . If you really only have one code for one side you may have an intake gasket leaking or the egr may be stuck open a little which could effect the idle quality.

Code po174 on a 1996 ford f150 what do i do to fix it

This code means System too lean bank 2, check the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, make sure it has no cracks in the silicone on the underside letting in moisture and corrosion, clean it with electrical cleaner and reinstall it after it has completely dried. Check for vacuum leaks after the sensor. Hope this helps, let me know.

I like to know what bank 2 lean mean

Because you have a V engine the pistons are angled, More commonly known as a Bank, Now Bank 2 lean would mean that the righthand side as you look at the engine will be Bank 2, Lean means that bank is running rich, using more fuel

02fordf150 no power p1151 p0174p0305 codes present

p1151 indicates fuel system lean bank 2, p0174 system lean bank 2, p0305 is missfire cylinder number 5. You say no power I take that to mean that is has low power while running, if so with these codes present check your fuel pressure and pressure regulator and fuel pump, it sounds like your fuel system has low pressure and is not responding correctly. Hope this helps, let me know.

Diagnostic computer code is (p0174) system too lean, bank 2 what does this mean?

Had the same problem with a Expedition...you can try cleaning the MAF, but also make sure your spark plugs are in good shape. The plugs on my 5.4 were all oil fouled and I had bank 1 and 2 lean codes (left and right cylinder heads)

OBD Code says ''Lean Bank 2 - System too lean

Bank 2 is generally the passanger side. Recently, We have run across a few system to lean codes in Fords. We have ended up changing the O2 sensors.
