04 ford f 450 water droplets on dash.what do I do to fix it

First find the source. Could be the windshield seal. When does this happen? When it rains? When the kids have water toys?

How can u tell if back up sensors are working on 04 volvo xc90???

Slowly back up to a high wall, in a carpark or somewhere. The backup sensors should operate before you get too close.

Rain sensor chrysler 300c wont work

Check wiring to the sensor on the windshield. Also see if sensor is coming loose from the glass. The repair for this is new windshield with sensor.

My 2004 volvo xc90 says alarm system service required. any ideas on how to diagnose or any common problems

I had the same problem on my 04 XC90 - apparently it is a common failure... You need to replace a Siren module.

Front of dash leaks water when it rains on 2004 xc90

If you've had a windshield replaced take it back to them and tell them to check it out. May be improper installiation. Otherwise around the upper firewall there is like a rubber passage that is used for drainage. Remove the leaves and debris and it should be ok.

2-3 " water on driver's side I have a 2005 xc90 volvo.

it the drain that goes from ur sunroof. I have an 04 and just figured it out. am a female and did it myself. It has and elbow rubber piece at the end that gets clogged and makes the water backup nd drain into the car not out. TRUST ME this is it. Pop open the grab handles on the panel next to the windshield, unbolt the bolts, pop the panle off, follow the tube down the bottom of the panel, pull it out of the elbow, pull the black rubber elbow out of the metal frame and push something into it and you will see all of the build up push out. They wanted $1000.00 dollars to do it. it is some kind of defect in the design in these trucks. u cane pour water in the lip of the sun roof where ther r 2 small holes (one on eitherside) and u will see it wont drain, but once u do this u will see the water drain out of the bottom of the truck. IT"S EASY !!! Save $1000 and do it yourself.

2004 Jeep rain sensing wipers continue to run regardless of setting or amount of rain

a couple of thoughts:
Has your windshield just been replaced?
The sensor is up by the rear view mirror, is it plugged in all the way?
Do you have the right size wiper blades on your vehicle? (too short of a blade misses the rain sensor and does not wipe it clean)
How good are your blades? ( as above, to turn off the rain sensor the blade needs to wipe it clean)
The rain sensor works by projecting multiple inferred beams to the inside of the windshield, like a prism, they reflect back to collectors. when there is a water droplet on the outside of the windshield it changes a beams trajectory and it misses the collector thust turning on the wipers.
(yes, this all happens in that little sensor up by the rear view mirror.)
check to make sure the wiper switch is in the right position.
also....I've seen rain sensors not work properly when the hood or doors are open.
hope this helps

How to replace a rain sensor on a 2003 gmc envoy, and where is locate

Rain sensor is mouted next to inside rear view mirror assembly on the windshield. The retaining ring is permanantly mounted to windshield. Disconnect connector and pull down on sensor. Do not touch the surface of the sensor.
