Question about 1999 BMW 318 ti
Hi I have a BMW 318I 1994 Model and the key is supposed to work with my central locking but i think its missing the globe? Is there anyways i can fix it or do i have to get a new key and if so where can i purchase them from? Also another question My car shakes heaps when it comes to a stop or in the mornings when its cold, i have just done a major service and told the guy to fix it he said it had something to do with the timing belts cause they had cracked and the pully but he replaced them and it still does it! Anyone have the same problem or know what it could be? Thanks
I pressume it is the led youre talking about. Only some keys have a visible led. open the key transmitter and check if there is a led at the front. It could be round or a square block. If so insert batteries and brigde the batteries to complete the voltage circiut and press a button to see check if the led lights up. If so your key must be programmed for your system.
