More than likely it is between two parts....fuel pump and/or coil module. These are both fast moving counter items at the Saturn dealer and can cause your symptoms. Not a good idea to guess though ,so perform fuel/ ignition diagnostics and inspections and hopefully you can isolate the problem. One fairly easy thing to pay attention to is the sound of the fuel pump...when failing they get louder and weird sounding...squeeling in a sense. Key on /engine off will cycle this pump for 3 secs and this gives you an opportunity to hear this pump in action in a quiet place, like enclosed in the garage. They generally run about like they sound,I've found....good luck

2004 suburban starts and runs fine almost all the time. 3 times in the last 4 months it just wouldn't start and could not come up with a reason why. A friend suggested to put more gas in the first time...

The next time this happens have a can of spray starting fluid on hand (available from any parts store) and spray it into the engine air intake, if the engine starts and stall out then you have a fuel pressure issue, which most likely will be the fuel pump or fuel pump power relay.

Windstar 2001 had it since new. over 120,000 miles suddenly started stalling cuople months ago had alternator replaced, bearings anything on the serpentine belt incl oil and water pump checked or replaced....

The problem with your van is the CAM Sensor, I believe the noise you are hearing is kind of a chirping sound. I just had mine fixed (12/19/09) it was about $150 for parts and labor from a local Mech. not a dealer.

Fuel injector fuse blows quite often, and the jeep just quits. I replace it and it starts right up again. This has happened about 10 times in the last month.

Problem might require a bit of electrical troubleshooting but start by checking all injector wiring to make certain one is not shorting out due to rubbing, being pinched or melted insulation from hi-temps. Wiggle them around while engine running to see if engine stalls (careful here - don't get caught in fan!).

make sure your using the high grade gas, thie lower ones will cause damage to the engine, it's a small engine but a good one, so it is desingned for the higher grade to make the most of the fuel this helps

Sudden loss of power, Backfiring, starts then stalls

Your timing belt could be broken. You want to have this checked as soon as possible to prevent any further engine problems.
