My 2005 model Nissan Xtrail cant start but just cranks. i parked it fine

Try starting it in neutral instead or park...It may be your neutral start switch is bad in the park position. Otherwise, it sounds like a starter relay is not working.

Something might be wrong with the electrical circuit to the solenoid. Maybe it will help if you go to this site and study the OBDII codes:

2003 nissan petrol xtrail stars some times other times just winds over
have changed crank and cam sensors reset ecu fitted new fuel pump still the same

flooded as in parked in a pond?

remove the spark plugs
disable the fuel pump and ignition system
crank the engine to clear the combustion chamber
remove the fuel tank and replace
clear the fuel lines and replace the filter

speaking of filters, don't forget the air filter too

by then you might be ready to reassemble and try to start but first....change the oil and then cross your fingers
