Before installing a new belt spin all pulleys by hand. They should spin amoothly and freely. Check alternator, idler, tensioner, power steering and A/C. If any are hard, rough, or seized replace. Check that the belt aligns correctly with all pulleys and remove any debris embedded in the grooves.

There is a belt noise when car starts then it goes away after few minutes. Why is that?

If it is a belt noise, it because of the slippage between the belt & pulleys. Try replacing with new belts

I have had to replace mt alternator twice in 3 months and it keeps sqeeking and chewing up belt on side close to alternator vsthe car body

correct belt tennsion is key in this issue if the belt is too tight it will put too much pressure on the alternator drive shaft thus exessive wear on the bearing and then jamming which will burn through your fan belt.

on most cars a recommeded 3cm or 1" movement (or play) shold be in the belt unless you car has an auto tension fillted.
