Question about 1996 Nissan Maxima
When the car makes a stop it starts to shake and it turns off
It sounds like your IAC (idle air control valve) is going bad. The IAC, as it sounds, controls the idle of the vehicle and when they go out, the car will have a hard time idling and will often stall out. The IAC is located on the throttle body and is normally held on by a couple of screws. It's an easy and relatively cheap fix that you can do by yourself. Let me know if you have further questions. Thank you for your positive rating and for using FixYa!
