IF the tires are smaller in diameter than OEM calls for, the speedo will read faster than your traveling. If you want your speedo to read properly, stick with the size tires the manufacturer calls for on THAT particular vehicle.
Check to see if any relay is hot or warm when everything is off, thus draining battery. It could be the central locking relay, or just a bad diode in the alternator.
hi i have a renault kangoo and my red immobilliser light keeps flashing and car wont start ,but a garage showed me a trick that he used for 2 years with his kangoo with the same problem,put your key in the ignition hold down on the keys central locking button as you turn on the ignition works every time ,car will start
Providing no faults on central locking,and battery in key is ok try reprograming key
Switch ignition on
PRESS AND HOLD lock button 10 seconds
Switch ignition off
Remove key
Wait 5 seconds
Check central locking has reset
to test vechicle speed sensor.safely raise front of vechicle.block back wheels besure you are on level ground.get some help to do this.you need a digital volt meter set it on AC SCALE.TURN IGNITION ON DONT START ENGINE.TAKE VOLT METER BACK PROB THE VECHICLE SPEED SENSOR CONNECTOR.TURN YOUR WHEEL WITH ONE HAND YOU SHOULD GET 0.5 VOLTS.AS YOU SPIN WHEEL FASTER YOUR VOLTS ON AC SCALE SHOULD INCREASE.IF IT DOES NOT WORK.IF WIRES ARE OKAY.YOUR VECHICLE SPEED SENSOR BAD OR THE MAGNET GEAR IN TRANSAXLE IS BROKE..
