Question about 1995 Ford Explorer
95 ford explorer over drive light flashig- shifting hard . pulled neg. off battery and was off then started flashing again, won't reset afraid i will loose codes
First of all get your tranmission fluid and filter changed not flushed, second of all their is a wire underneath that plugs into the tranny that is held on by a bolt clip, if this wires rubs through and grounds out which it usually does it will take out your over drive and the light will flash, your top speed will be 45 MPH.

You will not lose the codes they will come back, head to a transmission shop, there is a internal problem and the longer you drive it the more internal damage is being done.
