Question about 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe
This morning we had the cadillic converters replaced on my 2004 checy tahoe. We unhooked and rehooked the bettery to reset the light at the completion of the job. When I cranked the car, the a/c only blew in the defrost. I turned it off and back on and it blew fine. Then on the next trip it worked well, then suddenly began to blow clod air on the drivers side and very hot on the passenger side.
It has nothing to do with Freon. It is the bower door acctuator on the top of the HVAC system under the passengers dash. remove the cover below the glove compartment, 2 screws. The drivers blower door actuator motor is closest to the transmission tunnel and is held in place with 2 screws. The Passenger blower door actuator is directly above it on the TOP of the housing. Reach up and unplug it and plug it back in first. if it does not correct it you will need to replace it. It is not an easy job since most of the dash must be removed. The part from the dealer is 237.xx check with gmpartsdirect.com for pricing shipped to you. I just did mine on my Hummer H2 the a/c system is the same.
