Put new batteries in yesterday and today the face is blank - how to reset it

Check your battery connections that they are clean and tight.

the radio and clock will be reset, nothing to worry about.

Possible internal starter problem. Try tapping on starter motor while key is held in crank position. If vehicle starts, suspect a starter motor problem and replacement will be required

Have an auto electrician check out the wiring of the car. there could be a short somewhere in the wiring

I would check the under hood fuse distribution box their should be a fuse that controls the starter or possibly be a starter relay

Alternator should be putting out about 14

you need an alternator. it failed. have your alternator checked. im pretty sure (99.999999%) that it failed.

Chrysler vehicles are very picky about the voltage. Most likely needs a new battery or alternator. Take it to get the battery and alt. tested.

Seriously! Take the car for a drive in the country.
It has to go threw a few drive cycles (Ign On and Off miles at particular speeds, cooling fan has to cycle a certain number of time etc etc...)If you live by a turnpike take it for a spin.

Sounds like starter solenoid. Use a voltmeter and put it on B+ wire from starter relay to solenoid. Then crakk the vehicle . If your getting 12v there than its the starter solenoid. if there is no B+ there than check ign. switch, neutral safety switch,starter relay .
Good luck ..... you may want to give the battery a 3 min charge before testing.
