Air bag pump is running, new airbags . rear bags wont air up.

These Lincoln air suspensions are terrible. I have converted many over to coil springs at a fraction of the cost of replacing/repairing the bags. If the rear bags don't inflate, there is a broken air line to the bags or the bags are leaking

Air suspension 93 lincoln town car

Not really.
The air bags act as replacement or extra coil springs to hold the car up.
You might be able to replace them with coil springs from a Crown Vic.
That may cause problems with the front air bags and the rest of the system.

TE LOAD LEVELERS ARE NOT WORKNG, CAN I REPLACE THOSE LOAD LEVELER SHOCKS WITH ANOTHER TYPE SHOCK OR MUST I USE THE SAME SHOCK TAT IS STOCK?

are you talking about the air bag suspension system or the shocks themselfs???if your car is on the ground and not staying up it would be the air bag suspension and those can be changed to metal spring suspension. if shocks then the answer is: yes go buy at auto parts.

Air suspension in the rear will not hold air in Mark vll lincion

there are 2 ways of fixing that problem you can replace whats broken which is more than likely the air bags, which is expensive, or you can get an aftermarket set up with regular springs and do away with the air bag system completely it's not hard to convert it over just unplug the compressor jack up the car to lift the weight off of the suspension put a jack under the rear end housing and loosen the the shocks and lower the rearend housing remove the air bags put springs in their place jack up the rear end bolt shocks back up and your done.

No one makes air bags lifts for the Highlander 2wdr V6. How can you raise the rear to balance the load on the vehicle without changing the type of suspension. Which is a coil over-shock type? Bill Coker,...

Likely you can use monroe load leveler coil over shocks (check and see if they make them for yours) or you can replace stock rear springs with an aftermarket variable load spring.

Air suspension is not working

It just happened to me. I took it to a spring shop and had the air bags replaced with coil springs. It is an identical fit from a Crown Vic and only cost $200.00 total! Too much can go wrong with other parts of the air suspension. The ride is the same.

Tire size & Suspension confusion:

31x10.50r15s will rub the front fender while turning if you dont install either a suspension or body lift. Adding a leaf spring to the rear will not neccessarily raise the vehicle you must add a block to the spring seat to raise the height. However you can use 30x9.50r15 without any modification. Hope that answers your question.

Air Rise Suspension/computer module

my brother in law replaced the air springs on my '94 town car with rear coil springs from a '92 crown vic. He raised the rear tires off the ground and put jack stands on the frame for safety on both sides. Then disconnected the shocks at the lower end and removed the air springs.removed rear tires and used a piece of 2x4 to pry axle down to provide clearance to put coil springs in place. then hooked shocks back up and it worked fine. the only way the coil springs could come out is if the car was upside down and then who cares. This project only cost $ 25.00 Real cheap being we were broke!
