Question about 2002 Mini Cooper

1 Answer

The car has been overheating and blowing the fuses. also the windows keep having intermitant problems, sometimes they open and sometimes they don't. Can the problems be connected. The fan has already been replaced a couple of years ago. Although my friend told me he believes that the fan is ok, it may be the motor that is gone. the mechanic is telling me it might be the motor to the fan and the motor to the window but how can i be sure, i don't want to keep changing parts and do process of illimination because I can't afford it. After having the clutch changed 4 times by mini I went to an outside service center and had it replaced, and now it finally works. I am trying to avoid this with the fan, overheating and fuses blowing. Can anyone help Thanks a bunch Rosanna

Not enough information. You really need to have it diagnosed to find out if its an engine issue or component. You may have a couple different problems but only a shop can figure it out. Here we are all just guessing.

What keeps blowing my fuse and overheating my Nissan Sentra 2006 1.8 Edition?

It sounds like you have no experience at all with troubleshooting or repairing cars. So providing you any suggestions here will not help. You need to take your car to a reputable, qualified mechanic and have it evaluated to determine what problem(s) you have and how much it will cost to fix it. Continuing to drive it now will lead to total breakdown very soon.

Isuzu KB 320 V6 - Intermitted Overheating

Water pump is a bit tired and not flowing as much to handle the higher work load. Give the radiator a good flush first and see what comes out. Might come good if you flush the donk as well.

I have a 1997 mercury mystique and the power window fuse keeps blowing. What could be the problem?

When a fuse keeps blowing the problem is usually a short or open circuit that allows for the current to keep passing and blows the fuse

If other techs have looked at it ,the common things have been checked. What sometimes is over looked is the space between the radiator and the A/C condensor. Debri gets stuck to the radiator and is hard to see . If you loosen the radiator mounts you can see between the two.If it is very dirty it might be necessary to remove the radiator to pressure wash it.

2000 Toyota Corolla, \r\nMy power windows are working slow; sometimes not responding to inputs. Window goes up half way and stops. They work intermittedly. What's the problem?

Your power window motor's are getting weak, time for replacement, sooner or later will blow fuse to window motor's, due to motor's are asking for to many amps to work, will over load circit and blow fuse.

Probably a faulty door switch. Are you familiar with what I'm talking about. Little push like switches that the doors push on as they close, usually on door post by latch end, or sometimes in jamb of door at hinge end.
