Hi.I think the problem will be the linkage between the shift lever and the actual transmision'
Could be as simple as a connecting pin has fallen out
So therefore the car is still in park and won`t roll
Hope i have been of some help

1998 dodge neon window does not close

Sounds like a window guide is broken or disconnected allowing the glass to shift forward. Only removal of the door panel and visual inspection will tell what the problem is.

Window falls forward

the window guide behind the door panel is worn out. it may be due to age. there's no problem as long as it rolls up/down and seals the passengers from rain, etc.

Overheating

I own a 1997 Dodge Neon. My car started to overheat while idling especially with the air conditioning on. We ended up resolving the problem by replacing the fan relay switch which is located under the battery case near the driver's side wheel well. It is a small black square sensor that is approximately 1 1/2 inches across and about a 1/4 inch thick. It was $50 dollars. However, it took us several repairs to figure this out. We first took the fan out and checked to make sure it was working. An easy test is to turn on the A/C and the fan should run if the A/C is turned on. We connected the fan directly to the battery and it worked fine. We then replaced the collant temperature sensor which is located on the engine cylinder on the driver's side under a few hoses, it was difficult to get to. The last option was to pull the PCM computer and replace it which is an expensive option. New PCM's run around $300.00. Ultimately the fan switch relay fixed the problem. Hopefully this helps!

Block heater for 98 dodge neon

Well the block heater itself is usually way under the engine where you can't see it, so I'm thinking you want the plug & cord that makes it work so you can plug it in. My 95 neon had it coiled up laying near the top of the fender under the hood on drivers side, if i remember correctly. It had a black cap over the plug which made it hard to find sometimes, even though I thought I knew where it was. Sometimes it would fall down behind or beside the engine controller.(gray looking computer box) I was always looking for a shiny plug-in type end but it was covered with a hard to see black little cap over it. I used a flashlight, and went along the top of the fenders until I spotted what looked similar to a black extension cord, then followed it to the end, and that's how I found it most times. Try going along drivers side top of fender first, then passenger fender, and then along the front, and maybe even attached in behind grille at front of car sometimes.
