Heater was working fine..then shut if off...when i turned it back on it just blew cold air, i know its not a thermostat, water pump, or head problem cause it doesn't overheat...checked fluid levels and...

There is a part called the air temperature blend door inside the air ducting of the dash, it controls the air temperature by moving between the AC Evaporator core and the Heater core, it is broken or the electric actuator is defective that moves it or more commonly both are defective. To replace these parts requires the dash be removed from the truck. This is a VERY common problem with 1995 up Explorers.

Our outside temperature display on our dash now says zone 9, not the outside temperature, on our 2002 Ford Explorer. How do we fix it to display the temperature again?

The zone nine is for the compass you need to calibrate the compass. and then you temp will work again. check the owners manual if you do not have one call the service department at a ford dealer they should be able to help you.

On my 1998 Buick Riviera the outside temp display is not correct. How is this repaires

There is usually a Air Temperature Sensor Probe located in the front of your car, close to or under the Radiator that senses and reads the ambient air temperature. The probe could be dirty or bad, try cleaning it first with a mild cleaner, if it still is not working correctly, replace it.

1995 ford probe

The mass air flow sensor is right by the airbox.... It has two screws holding it into a body. Unplug it, unscrew it, and take it out of the housing. Its literally in plain view. Take it out and CAREFULLY put the new one in. Make sure not to damage the electrodes on the new mass air flow sensor. It's not even six inches from where you put in the air filter. Intake hose going to the intake manifold.
